A herd of Scottish red deer lives a couple hundred yards beyond the Inveroran Hotel, along the banks of the Allt Orain. This stag emerged from the forest to graze despite the impending storm rolling down the mountainside. We were both drenched within the next few minutes. One cared less than the other.
