Hi everyone—welcome to Phoenix Portrait Photography, my professional photography website! It has been a year in the making, well a little longer than that as you will read.
My name is Samuel Tegge. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. My wife and I transplanted to Phoenix in January of 2021 seeking out our next adventure. Throughout my life, I have explored different jobs, academic endeavors, professional careers, and outdoor adventures. One thread has woven its way through these experiences, cameras and storytelling. Like an itch that I can't seem to scratch, photography and storytelling continue to resurface. I have learned that when something in life keeps hitting me in the face, I should start to pay attention. This business is my first attempt at intentionally living out this passion. I do not know how this will evolve over time. What I do know is that if I do not intentionally explore this area of my life, I will regret it. So, this is an invitation to join me on this journey.
